BNC BullieNutz is a small kennel in the beautiful hills of Northern Kentucky. We are proudly associated with John T. Gravett and BulliesByGod. John's primary mission was to make the Bull Terrier breed better than what he had started and we intend to do the same. We take great pride in our Bull Terriers and we treat them as we do our children. Our Bull Terrier's are not our dog's their our family!

      RIP John T Gravett
      01-04-1953 to 12-16-2010
Death is such a certain word that brings both tears and sadness But John, my friend, you took that part and turned it into gladness.
You gave me knowledge of the world and just what was in store You took it from  your two arms and placed it into four.
My fury friend beside me brings great memories of you And remember John, in Heaven that "Angels need Bullies too."

Bull Terriers are not for everyone! Please research the Breed before purchasing a Bull Terrier!! Life is never dull with this breed. They require constant care and attention and a lot of obedience training. As John always said "A bully is like a 2 year old in a dog costume." With that in mind we would like to provide you with some history and knowledge on the Bull Terrier.

      About the Breed:
The Bull Terrier is highly intelligent, anxious, sensitive, determined, craves human attention and loves to please. A mature Bull Terrier can range anywhere from 30lbs. to 70lbs. Bull Terriers range in temperament. Bull Terriers are very muscular and agile dogs. They need regular exercise to stay fit and healthy. Canine Compulsive Disorder has been observed in Bull Terriers, this involves tail chasing, spinning, etc. Compulsive behaviors are usually brought on by stress or hormonal changes. Bull Terriers can sunburn and overheat. Pay close attention to your bullies moods, any minor change can be related to serious concerns. If a bully is happy they may not let you know they are feeling ill until it becomes serious. With children in mind make sure you keep a close eye on your bullie, much like children they explore with their mouths and even the smallest things can cause the biggest problems

   History of the Breed:
The breed consists of the old-fashioned Bull Dog, the White English Terrier, the Dalmatian, and other various Terriers. It is also believed that there was some mixture of Greyhound, Spanish Pointer, Foxhound, Borzoi, and smooth-coated Collie used in the bloodline in the 1930's. There are four distinctive types of accents on the Bull Terrier including "Bull," "Terrier," "Dalmatian," and a mixture of "Bull and Terrier."
